Training of Trainers

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Generate learning objectives by incorporating various educational domains.
• Translate learning objectives using Kern's cycle to enhance their alignment with learning processes and outcomes.
• Utilize popular teaching strategies to design and conduct effective teaching sessions during the academic year or in a clinical setting.
• Employ the principles of effective feedback, recognize challenges, apply tailored techniques, and seamlessly integrate feedback for improved clinical interactions and practices.
• Interpret signs of trainee struggle and take appropriate, timely steps to identify and support them, providing necessary assistance for their progress and success.
• Apply various assessment strategies, such as CBD, MINI-CEX, DOPS, and ITER, to evaluate trainees effectively and provide constructive feedback for their continuous development.
• Demonstrate the CanMEDS framework and its principles; communication, collaboration, leadership, professionalism, scholarly activities, and advocacy in healthcare settings to ensure holistic patient care and foster professional growth.
